Why mountain operations break generic booking software.
Standard booking software treats a reservation like a salon haircut or dentist appointment: pick an empty 30-minute block on a calendar, take a deposit, and hope the customer arrives.
In the mountains, it is never that simple. A private off-piste ski clinic requires an instructor with Avalanche Safety Certification 2 who speaks fluent French and English. A downhill MTB clinic requires a rental bike sized to the guest's height, pre-inspected suspension, and a matching full-face helmet.
When rain turns to snow or a lift is placed on wind hold, operators spend hours reshuffling schedules on whiteboards, messaging WhatsApp groups, and manually calculating guide payroll at the end of the month.
We built Alpmate to solve this exact operational friction: synchronizing online booking checkout, instructor qualification dispatch, rental fleet sizing, and direct financial settlements in one unified engine.

Database Isolation by Default
Generic SaaS platforms lump thousands of competing schools into a single shared database table with a 'WHERE tenant_id = ?' query filter. A developer error or query injection can leak customer phone numbers and revenue. Alpmate provisions isolated data containers for each school. Your customer records stay exclusively yours.
Financial Sovereignty
Traditional booking marketplaces hold your customer funds in an escrow account, collecting interest for weeks before releasing payouts to you. With Alpmate, you connect your own Stripe account or Swiss QR-Bill provider. 100% of guest payments settle directly to your bank account at the moment of booking.
Zero Off-Season Penalties
When the ski lifts close in April or bike parks wrap up in October, mountain schools should not be paying CHF 300 every month for idle software. Our commercial model is aligned with your reality: CHF 0 per month, with a single 1% fee invoiced once a year in arrears.

Alpmate is engineered and operated by Alpmate Alpine SaaS AG, incorporated in Switzerland. All databases and static assets are housed in Tier IV Zurich and Geneva cloud facilities, protected under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / revDSG) and European GDPR.
